The Value of Relational Frameworks

The Bible provides a relational (or Hebraic) model for building and strengthening families, churches and governments. When raised in a multi-generation family, a child has the opportunity to observe how their father relates to their grandfather, as well as other family members. As a result, values, character and decision-making systems are easily taught to the younger generation. Emerging from the home, young believers are then drawn into churches which are strengthened by their relational, father-son framework. Finally, when extended further, into civil society, this approach ensures protection for the weakest citizens and opportunity for the strongest. 

 Alternatively, ancient Greece introduced the Hellenistic model of civil society which was based on structures, organizations, and lines of authority. In our modern era, this approach has invaded our families, our schools, and our governments.
